T.I.L

Today I learned what CC and BCC mean under the 'To' field in an email. I usually just type the address into the 'To' field and then give the email a subject, type it and send it!

CC means 'carbon copy'. You can send the same email to more than one person. I'm not sure what the difference is between this and simply entering more than one person into the 'To' area.

BCC means 'blind carbon copy'. This is the interesting one. Say I wanted to send an email to Bob. I wanted to send the same email to Joe but didn't want Bob to see that I sent it to Joe. I would enter Joe's name in the BCC field.

Interesting! Try it out this week!
